August Cooking Class: Chinese Cooking

I wasn't able to attend the cooking class this month, but I was able to get some pictures. Looking at the pictures, I wish I had gone, the food looks so yummy. Candy's cooking is always yummy.

Candy made fried rice using jasmine rice and brown rice. Here she is frying up some sausage.

I think there was a stampede for Candy's Cooking, that could explain why this picture is blurry. Anyway, here is the fried rice. Looking at this really makes me wish I could have gone. Maybe we will see it at a potluck.
Candy made some noodles as well. Here she is frying up the vegetables.

The end product. Doesn't this look so yummy as well.

If you missed this month's cooking class, you should really try to clear your calendar for September. Candy will be making cheesecake!

Christmas In August

It was a lot of fun at the Christmas in August Enrichment.

Lois Patterson made these adorable paper Christmas trees for each table.

And she brought her Christmas tree and decorated it for us to enjoy. She really worked hard to put together this enrichment.

Candy made omelettes to order. They were huge and very delicious.

Elle Lam, a future crafter! But for now, she is enjoying a nice croissant.

Lauhala Stocking Stuffers, taught by Lani Kim.
Gifts in a Jar, taught by Kellie Davis. She made Magic Jello. I can't wait to taste it. Wouldn't you be so happy to receive a gift like this!
Cookie Decorating, taught by Jo Yamauchi.

Gift Bags, taught by Lynne Gailey.

I couldn't resist taking Noelle's photo. I love this shirt!

It was a lot of fun to visit with the sisters. I loved chatting with the sisters, catching up with the lastest happenings in their family, or just getting to know them better. I left with a filled soul and a full tummy.
